Had a great day at sea today celebrating the Irish.  We started at the pub (of course) with a group of friends we have met on board.  It was already rocking the Irish as a trivia game was in progress and packed.  A beer tasting event for us featuring 6 different beers - the rest of the group thought we were doing shots!  Since Mickey and I do not drink beer, I became the group photographer (and had my lemon drop).  A great time had by all and the festivities were just beginning.  On to a great show in the theater, and then back to the centrum to watch the Irish shenanigans going on.  A great way to celebrate the Irish...tomorrow another day at sea and then on to Lombok, Indonesia.

Good morning all.... As we finalize details, the reality of this amazing adventure is upon us!!  I hope you follow along with us on our world journey and enjoy the amazing experiences ahead for Mickey and I!! We are currently in Missouri, heading to Clinton for our visit to celebrate early Christmas with Kulani, Jared, Gary, Varina and Oren, then on to St Charles with Kevin, Danielle, Autumn and Andy. Brittany is going to sneak in for a few days, so we get a great send off from our whole family. Back to Naples on December 5th, two action packed days saying goodbye to friends and then off to Miami  December 8th for the big Gala party hosted by Royal Caribbean for all full world cruisers.  It does not seem possible that our departure date is almost upon us -  only 16 days to go!!! December 10th is our set sail date and the journey begins.

Hong Kong 3/27/24

  Hong Kong We’ve got two days to get it all in which I suspect will not feel like enough when it’s time to leave. Officially we’ve arrived at the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, situated on the Pearl River Delta. This has to be one of the places where there is absolutely something for everyone. Whether you want the spectacular city and harbor views after taking the tram to Victoria Peak, a ride on one of the legendary Star Ferry boats, the hustle and bustle of Temple Street Night Market after watching the Symphony of Lights, the serenity of the Tian Tan Buddha or Mo Man Temple.  Coming into port was interesting - we came in around 6 am and got to see the city come alive - hustle and bustle just starting for the day - a lot like NYC. Singapore 4/24/24

Singapore  Another welcoming committee as we disembarked the ship.  And a picture from our balcony as we arrived in port in the morning.   How we wish that we had more time in Singapore! What an amazing city!!  And such a short time here 6.5 hours but you will see we packed it in...We rented a small minivan for 10 people, and followed the advice of a fellow passenger who was from Singapore.    We started out at the Singapore Changi Airport terminal.  Mickey had been reading about what a fabulous terminal it was and how much he wanted to see it, so the group was all in.  It was a fabulous building, featuring an indoor waterfall that was magnificent.  Problem was, we got there at 9 am, and the fountain did not turn on till 11 am.  So, we had to come back later to see it in action.  It was worth the 2nd trip and thankfully it was close to the port - we cut this one close.   Our next stop was Garden's by the Bay.  I canno...
